We’ll have a nice drive out to Lake Buchanan to Vanishing Texas Cruises. Vanishing Texas Cruises is a nature-based tourist attraction located in Central Texas on Lake Buchanan and the Colorado River. We’ve reserved space on the Texas Eagle, a 70-foot two deck excursion vessel. We’ll explore the scenic wilderness of the Texas Hill Country’s Highland Lakes Region and have a chance to see regional and migrating birds, native Texas Wildlife, cascading waterfalls and towering cliffs. Tourmaster Chris McChesney has planned one of his usual nice drives through the Texas Hill Country leaving Cedar Park about 11:30 AM. Yes, we moved the time back. We’ll check in at the dock at 2:30 PM and depart at 3:00 PM. We’ll be back by 5:00 PM. Just in time for dinner at Cooper’s in Llano. The cost is $22.00 per person that includes hors oeuvres, iced tea and water. You may bring your own beverages if you want. Kayak rentals are also available featuring a new fleet of Ocean Kayaks either before or after the cruise. Registration is now open at www.clubregistration.net. This is a great tour for those of you who drive Cayenne’s or Macan’s, not just a 911, Cayman or Boxster. So load up the family and come join us.
