Are you up for a challenge? The “It’s All About The Speed” Rally will take you winding along roads north of Austin following the Rally Master’s route directions, while paying close attention to speed limit signs along the way. Sounds pretty simple, but you’ll need both a driver and navigator to compete in this challenging rally. Tools are minimal – paper, pencil and a simple calculator – your smart phone for example. Details will be provided at check in.

The rally will start in the parking lot across from the Oasis Restaurant on Comanche Trail off of FM 620. Check in will open at 8:30 AM, with the first car out at 9:00AM. Registration fees will be collected at check in. Cash only and correct change would be appreciated.

Sorry, no breakfast or coffee will be provided, so BYO if you need a caffeine jolt.

This is not a tour – each team is on their own to follow the route and play the game. Cars will be started in 2 minute intervals. Remember, if you decide to follow the car ahead, they may make a wrong turn, and there you are, both off the route!

The rally will finish at Flat Creek Estate Winery. Our winery hosts will provide a selection of wood fired pizzas and caesar salad for lunch. Five small wine tastings, or one glass of wine per person is also included, beginning at 11:00 AM. Soft drinks will also be available. Anyone wishing to buy a glass of wine, or share a bottle with friends at lunch can visit the tasting room. While we want everyone to have a great time at Flat Creek, remember, somebody will need to drive home safely.

If you wish to buy some wine to take home, Flat Creek is offering a 20% discount on a case, or a 10% discount on a 3-bottle pack. Single bottles will be sold at their regular price.

Winners, and maybe the day’s biggest loser, will be determined during lunch at Flat Creek, and amazing prizes will be awarded!

The rally registration fee is $22.00 per person, which includes lunch, wine tastings and prizes.

In spite of the name, participants are cautioned to obey posted speed limits at all times. This is not a race. Also, for safety reasons, a driver and a navigator are required to compete in this rally. Can’t find a willing navigator? Solo drivers can register to drive the route and join in for lunch and wine tastings at Flat Creek.
