Tire Rack Teen Street Survival (TRSS) is back on Saturday April 27. Our first TRSS in two years will be at the Austin Community College – Public Safety Training Center in Kyle on Saturday April 27 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.  Yes, we know there is a Maverick DE on the same date. HCR has been able to reach an agreement to partner with ACC to use their new state of the art driver training facility. The Austin Chapter of the BMW Car Club is also supporting this event. Porsche Austin is a sponsor.

TRSS teaches your teen to control the car he/she drives daily, in unpredictable situations based on its handling limits. They master the application of driving physics, learn how to make good driving decisions and react more quickly and to become more aware and learn how to begin anticipating the actions of other drivers. The TRSS is open to any teen between the ages of 16 – 21 who is a licensed driver. Learners Permits are not allowed.

To register your teen, please go to http://streetsurvival.org/. Cost is 95.00. Please remember that registration is open to any teen, not just teens from HCR so if you want your teen to participate, please register ASAP. We are also seeking coaches who ride with the teens during the exercises. To see the requirements for becoming a coach and to sign up, please go to
http://streetsurvival.org/schools/become-a-coach/. Coaches must complete an online training program.
