Thanks to the generosity of our HCR members who supported the Holiday Party toy drive, the toys have been delivered to The Center for Child Protection. This is the only non-profit in Travis County involved in the investigation of crimes against children and is the first stop for children who are suspected victims of sexual abuse, physical abuse, neglect, and those who have witnessed a violent crime. The Center is where children go for “recorded forensic interviews, medical exams, counseling, and intervention during the investigation and prosecution of child abuse cases.”
Let’s count our blessings that as HCR members, we are on the “giving end” in our support of The Center for Child Protection.
