New Member Onboarding
Welcome to the Family.
You have the keys to your Porsche—now unlock the full ownership experience. Here is your quickstart guide to drives, social gatherings, and community across Austin and Central Texas.
The 4-Step Quickstart Guide
Join PCA and find camaraderie online and offline. We have active digital spaces to ask technical questions, trade parts, discuss Porsche news, and coordinate impromptu drives through the Hill Country.
When you join the Porsche Club of America (PCA), your regional affiliation is assigned based on your ZIP code. If you live in Central Texas (including Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, San Marcos, or surrounding counties), you are automatically assigned to Hill Country Region (Zone 5).
Moving from another area or want to transfer? Log into your profile on PCA.org to confirm your region assignment or email our team to initiate a regional transfer
The club moves fast, with 4 to 8 events happening every month. Never miss an event announcement or registration opening:
-
Weekly E-News Updates: Our weekly email delivers timely reminders about weekend breakfasts, drives, and meeting locations.
-
Horizons: Our regional print newsletter is available quarterly in an interactive digital e-zine format as well as downloadable PDF archives.
-
Social Media: Follow our official channels on Facebook and Instagram to see event recaps and photos.
You do not need a race helmet, special gear, or a track-prepped car to get involved. Over half of our calendar consists of casual, non-competitive social gatherings:
-
Informal Breakfasts: Rotating weekend mornings at Rudy's BBQ on RR 620 in North Austin, Red Horn Brewery in Leander, and Le Muse Coffee in Dripping Springs.
-
Lunch Bunches & Happy Hours: Mid-week lunch spots and evening gatherings at local craft breweries.
-
Annual New Member Social: Hosted at venues like Petrol Lounge, specifically designed for new members to meet club leadership in a relaxed setting.
Our metallic magnetic name badges are the official club icebreaker. Featuring the HCR PCA logo, your name, and Hill Country Region affiliation, badges make it easy to introduce yourself and connect with fellow owners at every event.
