Thank you for contributing to the Hill Country Region! Your stories and photos fuel our community. To ensure your content looks its best in Horizons and on hcrpca.org, please review the following guidelines before uploading:
1. Deadlines:
- Newsletter (Horizons): Content must be received six weeks after the publication of the previous issue to be considered for the following quarterly issue.
- Website / Social Media / Weekly News: Submitted on a rolling basis. Please allow up to 48 hours for review and posting.
2. Article Specifications:
- Format: Please submit text via this form or upload a Microsoft Word (.docx) or plain text file.
- Length:
- Feature Stories: 500–1,000 words.
- Event Recaps: 150–300 words.
- Editing: HCR PCA reserves the right to edit all submissions for length, clarity, and style.
3. Photography & Media:
- Quality: High-resolution original files are required for print. Aim for at least 2MB file size or 2000 pixels on the shortest side.
- Format: JPG or PNG preferred.
- Captions: Please include names of people and cars (left to right) for all photos.
- Note: Do not embed photos inside Word documents; please upload them as separate files below.
