Come join us for a free SOCIAL MIXER at the first Schnell Fest of the year. The SOCIAL MIXER will be held on Saturday at 5pm at COTA Paddock Loft 201. There will be an assortment of sliders, beer, wine, soft drinks and water. You can also come out anytime during the day to see the action on track.
The SOCIAL MIXER is open to all and is a great opportunity to explore COTA and see what happens on an HPDE weekend. This is a perfect opportunity to see the cars participating in the event and to talk to the drivers as well.
If you are interested in attending the SOCIAL MIXER, your vehicle will be stopped at the COTA security booth to sign the COTA and PCA waivers. You will then receive a wristband which you must wear while on the premises. Minor children are welcome but a legal guardian must sign a minor waiver. Pets are not allowed. Save yourself some time at the gate and sign the COTA waiver in advance. Here’s the link
COTAAll entry/exit will be through the Tunnel 2 Gate on Circuit of the Americas Blvd.
If you have never been to COTA please allow extra time to gain entry into the paddock area, find a place to park and find Paddock Loft 201 where the SOCIAL MIXER is being held (above the garages). Paddock Loft 201 is the Loft that is above Garages # 1-6 as shown below. Here is the paddock diagram with Paddock Loft 201 highlighted in yellow.
The Schedule for the Weekend:
Saturday Parade Laps 12:00 Noon – line up at the Grid: listen for announcements on the Public Address system, and then go to grid to line up. Requested $20 minimum donation to the clubs’ charity. Parade laps are paced (i.e. no passing) and speeds are controlled. Any passenger vehicle is suitable for parade laps, no helmets or special safety equipment required. Children in their car seats are fine. The time is approximate but we’ll do our best to stay on schedule.
Saturday 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Social in Paddock Loft 201: When the track goes cold at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday please join us in Paddock Loft 201 for a catered social with three types of sliders, beer, wine, soft drinks and water.
Sunday Parade Laps: 12:20 – Line up at the Grid. The time is approximate but we’ll do our best to stay on schedule.
There are numerous places to watch the on-track action at COTA:
Second Floor Observation deck at the Turn-1 “end” of the Garage building.
Pedestrian bridges over Turns 3 and 15
Main straightaway seats adjacent to Paddock Loft 203 which will be available to us all weekend.
