Friday Sept 18 reserved for set-up of the course. The actual event is on Sept 19.
Open to young drivers between the ages of 16-21, the school doesn’t teach students how to drive; rather, it teaches young, licensed drivers how to drive better and more confidently, providing them with the skills they’ll need to safely navigate unexpected emergency situations out on the road. The students will become more observant of the traffic situation they find themselves in. They will learn to look far enough ahead to anticipate unwise actions of other drivers. As the students master the application of physics to drive their cars, they will make fewer unwise driving actions themselves. They will understand why they should always wear their own seatbelts, and why they should insist that their passengers wear seatbelts, too.

SEPTEMBER 26 SATURDAY FALL DRIVING TOUR
Join us for another exciting driving tour to the renowned BLACK’S BBQ in New Braunfels. We’ll begin at the HEB in Dripping Springs (598 E Hwy US 290, Dripping Springs, TX 78620) and enjoy a scenic drive along easy back roads to New Braunfels. We have our own 40-car Porsche Corral, reserved for HCR members only and spaces will sell out quickly. ClubReg registration will be required to park your Porsche in the Corral.
For those new to Mozart’s, it is a beautiful, waterfront coffee house and bakery with a European feel, overlooking Lake Austin. Our events draw over 4,000 spectators, and we expect a similar turnout this time. Seating is available at picnic tables on the upper and lower decks, with additional parking across the street if you’d like to just be a spectator or stay after your session. Since Mozart’s is a local favorite, there may be a line, but there will be a coffee speed bar in the Porsche Corral.
This is a great family event, so bring the kids along! We look forward to seeing you and your beautiful PORSCHE there.
